From the Palestinian Women’s Movement – Alkarama, we call on you to assume your moral, political, and historical responsibility. No authentic or progressive feminism can ignore the massacres suffered by the Palestinian people, or remain silent in the face of this policy of extermination and starvation, carried out with colonial and Zionist weapons and with the complicity of Western governments.
True solidarity—revolutionary, humane—cannot be conditional or subject to petty political calculations. It arises from the moral duty to stand with the victim facing her executioner, with the oppressed facing the genocidal and occupying regime.
The women of Gaza do not need compassion or pity. We need firm and radical stances that embody the principles that feminist movements around the world claim to defend: the struggle against colonialism, oppression, and systematic violence. We do not ask for one-size-fits-all solidarity, but rather a sincere commitment that recognizes that the struggle of Palestinian women is an inseparable part of the struggle of all humanity.
Nor do we need “feminist” voices that seek to impose conditions on our people and our women regarding the alliances that the Palestinian resistance establishes to sustain our steadfastness. Therefore, we salute our sisters in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Morocco, Iran, and South Africa, who today lead international feminism with justice, with their steadfast support for our people. And we denounce the feminist sectors that sell themselves as “leftist” and “progressive” while in reality promoting normalization with the Zionist regime, in the name of “dialogue,” “peace,” or “understanding between women”: empty slogans that only seek to confuse and weaken the struggle.
There is no revolutionary feminism without a clear stance in favor of the liberation of Palestine. All of Palestine. From the river to the sea.
